In addition to my family, music, movies, and blogging I love to read when I get the chance. Ward heard about ANOTHER social network I could join on NPR the other day called Library Thing. It is basically a visual bookshelf, you can post the books you've read, leave reviews and find other books you may enjoy based on your ratings of books you've already read. I think it is a neat idea. So I started a profile and added some books. If you are into that kind of thing, you should check it out.
They will let you add a visual bookshelf to your blog if you like, hence the new section now featured to your right.
I am currently reading Geek Love by Katherine Dunn. Weird, yet captivating. I don't know if I have ever read anything like it or can even compare it to anything I have ever read, but it is definitely worth a read if you find the time and like to bury some free time in a book.

Geek Love is like a horrible accident, you know you shouldn't stop and stare, but somehow you just can't stop yourself. It's hard to describe to other people, whenever I tell someone about it I can tell they think I am a freak.
You think that's the only reason they think that?
