This morning I was perusing some blogs of my friends and family when I came upon my nieces most recent post. In it she used a term that I did not understand and decided to look on-line for some sort of translation. My buddy Ed had told me about this site called Urban Dictionary so I went there to look up the term.
It appears that bomb dot com is a term meaning better than the rest and is usually saved for only the coolest people and things. For example, That muffin was the bomb dot com.
The main reason I was interested is because this has happened to me a lot lately. I have come across blogs or been having conversations with people that I didn't even understand because of the terminology. I feel like I am so behind on the times.
Urban Dictionary can be very helpful in these situations and I have already learned quite a bit.
For example I learned about laundry limbo (rewashing clothes because you're too lazy to put them away) and kitchenheimer's (when you can't recall why you're in the kitchen) and cybersplode (to explode in anger over something read on the internet).
I wish I'd known about cybersploding last week.
IYKWIM...AITYD.

Ouch. That Hurt.
So this morning I was going to log on and post over at thethomastwins in honor of the wee folk turning 11 months old when what to my surprise do I find but this. That's right folks, Ward has left me.
And he didn't even tell me he was going to leave. Just left that blog for me to stumble across next time I went to blog. Keep in mind he did start the blog last night when I had gone to a fantastic!! Tastefully Simple party at a friends, so maybe he was going to tell me and I just found it before he had the chance.
So why do I feel sad? Well, maybe because this whole blog thing was supposed to be a joint endeavor that Ward seemed to have gave up on some time ago, writing less and less. Maybe this blog wasn't all he dreamed it would be, maybe it was the playlist?
So it appears it's just me now folks, I don't even feel like carrying on as June you know, after this split it feels a little pointless.
You want to know the thing that really drives me bonkers, it's really stupid but I am going to divulge anyways, I hate our blog url and have for sometime and now that my husband is no longer a part of my blog I want to change it (actually I've wanted to change it for a long time), gosh I'm sad, huh?

Let's Make A Few Things Clearer, Shall We?
I realize that there may be some confusion about some of my recent blogs so I thought I would clear a few things up:
- Ricky and Lucy, are not MY Ricky and Lucy but the REAL Ricky and Lucy. I even thought about giving that blog another name but I didn't. I have learned my lesson.
- I didn't mean Belated Happy Birthday to Brandon, I meant Happy Birthday to Brandon on the 17th, but I don't think he reads my blog so I'm OK there.
- If we can call William Ayers a terrorist, I think I should be allowed to call the media terrorists, I'm just saying.
OK, so I think that's all for now.

What do onions have that tomatoes don't?
The other day we were having dinner (baked ziti) and my 18 year old brother is talking about foods he will and won't eat and he says matter of factly, "I've invited onions to the party in my tummy but Tomatoes and Mushrooms won't be coming anytime soon."
The first thing that came to my mind: poor tomatoes, getting a bad rap all summer long.
The second thing: does Ricky read James' blog?
